Whenever I mention meditation, the first thing people do is say "Ommmmm" and pinch their fingers together. But meditation is not only practiced in Buddhism or other religions like people assume. It's sitting still and being aware of your mind and your body, and taking time to think deeply. It can be beneficial for stress, anxiety, and anything else that is putting weight on your shoulders. Or so they say. The goal of this project is to see how meditation can help me throughout the school year. I'm always looking for ways to destress, and I'm hopeful that this will truly help me get through the next few crazy months.
